3、 Activity format
This case competition will be conducted in the form of submitting case reports and expert evaluations. Outstanding cases will be selected and displayed in the form of posters at the Shenzhen International High tech Oral Medicine Expo from December 3-5, 2025.
4、 Time schedule
1. Deadline for submitting cases: From the date of publication of this notice until 24:00 on October 15, 2025.
2. Case selection time: November 2025.
3. Case presentation time: December 3-5, 2025.
4. Award ceremony: December 4, 2025, Guangdong Private Dental Association Annual Meeting Dinner.
5、 Case requirements
1. Professional requirements for the case: The content of this case collection is periodontal basic treatment cases.
2. Case requirements: Participants are required to complete periodontal basic treatment cases. The case data is complete, and the text, images, and video records before, during, and after treatment can fully demonstrate the correct diagnosis of the case (according to the 2018 periodontitis classification standards), reasonable treatment plan, and significant treatment effect.
3. Case discussion: Conduct necessary discussions and summaries based on the characteristics of the case or important operational techniques.
4. Format for Case Submission: The submitted case reports should be made into PDF files using PPT or Keynote. If there are videos, they can be submitted as attachments.
5. Precautions: Each participating doctor is limited to submitting one case; Leave personal information of the organization and participants on the first page of the PDF; The case display text cannot display the participant's unit and personal information.
6、 Case competition and presentation process
1. Proposed scoring criteria: The Guangdong Private Dental Association will draft the scoring criteria for periodontal basic treatment cases before September 20, 2025. Please have the periodontal experts from the Southern Medical University Stomatological Hospital/Sun Yat sen University Stomatological Hospital revise and finalize them.
2. Establish a case competition judging panel: The Guangdong Private Dental Association will form a judging panel before September 30, 2025. Qualifications for judges: Associate Chief Physician or above, major in periodontics, in good health, willing to participate in case selection work, able to conduct case scoring fairly and justly.
3. Case evaluation: Each member of the judging panel will independently evaluate all participating cases and submit the results to the association's secretariat before November 10, 2025.
4. Score Summary: The Secretariat collects the scoring results submitted by the judges, calculates the average score (excluding the highest and lowest scores), obtains the final score of the participating doctors, and ranks them accordingly.
5. Case presentation: excellent cases were uniformly submitted to Shenzhen International High tech Oral Medicine Expo for wall newspaper production and display, and released on the official official account of Guangdong Private Dental Association.
7、 Activity evaluation and rewards
After evaluation by the expert group, 20 cases were shortlisted and 10 excellent cases were selected, including 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, and 7 third prizes. Among them:
The case ranked first in the total score will receive the first prize: a prize of 1000 yuan, a trophy, a certificate, and a learning reward.
2. The second and third ranked cases will receive a second prize: a prize of 800 yuan, a trophy, a certificate, and a learning reward.
3. Cases ranked fourth to tenth in total score will receive a third prize: a prize of 500 yuan, a trophy, a certificate, and a learning reward.
4. Candidates ranked 11th to 20th in total score: 1 certificate and gift.
